Can I change my password?
It is not possible to change the password - these are securely sent through our system and they will remain the same while the account is active.
Account Inativity
We require that traders place at least one trade every 30 days. Failing to do so would trigger our Inactivity Rule and the account would be terminated.
Do you allow Hedging and Martingale?
Hedging among different users/accounts goes against our trading conditions and would be deemed a violation. Martingale strategies are accepted and there are no specific rules around them.
Minimum and Maximum trading days
ITA does not have minimum nor maximum trading days, giving traders additional flexibility to meet their needs.
Can I let my friend trade on my account?
Each trader is responsible for his/her own accounts. Sharing trading account credentials is a breach of our terms and may lead to the termination of the trading account.
Is stop loss required?
A stop loss is not required with our challenges.
Prohibited trading
Cheating Is Strictly Forbidden Any trading methods considered "cheating" are not allowed and will lead to a breach of our Terms of Service. As such, employing strategies that produce risk-free, steady profits exclusively on demo accounts is prohibited. We expect our Funded Traders to approach their accounts as if they were live, and any tactic that exploits the demo environment will result in account termination—whether during the evaluation stage or after funding is granted. Examples of Prohibited Strategies: - Exploiting platform or data freezes caused by Demo Server glitches. - Utilizing a delayed data feed. - Trading with delayed charts. - Engaging in tick scalping, high-frequency trading, or arbitrage bots, including reverse arbitrage, latency arbitrage, hedge arbitrage, or any similar tools or emulators.
Gambling
At Institutional Trading Academy (ITA), we maintain a firm stance against trading strategies classified as "all or nothing" and do not permit strategies reliant on this approach. Our focus is on discovering exceptional traders who demonstrate skill in risk management, profit generation, and consistency within the financial markets. These are the individuals we choose to collaborate with, offering them simulated funded accounts of up to $200,000. We have zero tolerance for trades considered "all or nothing" and reject any strategies built around this method.
EA's and Trade Copiers
Both EA's and trade copiers are allowed in our platform 5. It is important to note that each trader must follow his/her own strategy and not copy from third parties. It is possible to copy trades from your retail accounts to your ITA accounts,as well as between ITA accounts.
Overnight holding of trades
We allow the holding of trades overnight (rollover - platform time) in our Evaluations and their respective Funded Accounts.
Weekend holding of trades
We allow the holding of trades over the weekend in our Evaluations and their respective Funded Accounts.
Is News Trading allowed?
News trading is allowed across all of our accounts and challenges.
What is the Maximum Daily Loss?
We work with 3 different models (1 phase, 2 phase and Instant Funding) - please refer to each specific model for more information about its specific features and requirements.
What leverage is available?
Our leverage depends on the instruments being used, reaching up to 1:100 for FX pairs. Please refer to each specific program for more information.
Consistency Score
This applies to our Instant model only. To request a reward on your Instant Funding account, you need to keep a consistency score of 20%. This requires that your largest winning day doesn’t account for more than 20% of your overall profits.
Overnight holding of trades
Holding trades overnight is allowed within our Evaluation models and their respective funded accounts. This is not applicable to our instant funded accounts.
How can I become be funded by Institutional Trading Academy?
To become a funded trader, all you need to do is complete the assessment requirements through our Evaluation. For those looking to expedite the process and skip the challenge, it is possible to choose the Instant Funding option.
What is an evaluation?
An Evaluation is a step in which you trade on a demo account to show that you are capable of meeting our requirements as a trader. Each account has its own requirements.
What account sizes are available?
Our accounts include: $25,000 $50,000 $100,000 $200,000 $400,000 $800,000
What is the maximum allowed capital I can manage?
Traders can manage up to $800,000 in virtual capital, which can be in a single account, or split between smaller accounts.
What happens if I violate a rule or do not meet the trading requirements?
If you violate one of the trading requirements during the assessment period, you will lose the eligibility for a funded account. If you violate a rule in a funded account, you will lose access to the funded capital and that specific trading account would be permanently closed. In this case, you are welcome to try again with a new account. It is important to notice that not all violations happen automatically and in some cases, you will be notified by our risk team in case your account has violated our conditions.
How can I track my progress?
You can track your progress directly through your Trader Portal at www.portal.itafx.com/my-account
What payment methods are available?
You can pay for your account either in crypto (most used) or card. For crypto, we accept BTC, USDT, ETH, Doge coins.
How many accounts can I manage?
You can manage up to $800,000 in trading capital per user.
Do I need to have experience to start?
Absolutely not - many traders choose our services in order to take a step into the professional trading world without much experience. Through our program, it is not necessary to risk your capital trading in a retail broker environment.
Do you have certificates for Evaluations and Payouts?
Yes, certificates can be obtained directly from your Trader Portal at www.portal.itafx.com/my-account .
Do you offer a free retry?
Given we have unlimited time to complete your assessment with ITA, there is no free retry.
How do payouts work?
Payouts can be requested via crypto directly through your trader portal - you will be able to place the payout request and nominate the currency/wallet you would like to use.
Tradable Instruments
With ITA, you have access to a range of instruments from Forex, Crypto, Metals, Indices and Commodities.
How can I access my dashboard?
Your Trader Portal can be accessed at www.portal.itafx.com/my-account . Once you become part of ITA, your credentials will be emailed to you, as well as the account credentials.
What information is available through my dashboard?
Within your dashboard, you can find the information regarding your trading history, profit, drawdown, maximum loss, rerferrals and more. The portal is where you can oversee your account stats.
Requesting a payment:
To request a payment, simply open your dashboard and in the Profit Share area you will be able to select the payout method and nominate a wallet which will be used to pay you.
What is your partnership program?
We offer a comprehensive partnership program where you refer and earn. Our commissions are paid weekly to your crypto wallet and you will receive a % based on the referrals you have made to date: 0 to 249 referrals: 10% per referral 250 to 499 referrals: 15% per referral 500+ referrals: 20% per referral This is tracked automatically in your dashboard.
What rewards do you offer?
We have a scaling plan, allowing you to grow with our program and naturally rewarding our partners more over time. 0 to 249 referrals: 10% per referral 250 to 499 referrals: 15% per referral 500+ referrals: 20% per referral
How to request a reward payment?
To request a reward payment, simply login to your dashboard at www.portal.itafx.com and in your affiliate area, you will be able to request the payment.
Payment frequency?
Reward payments are processed once a week directly to your wallet, which you will provide at the time of requesting it.
Will I get paid for all purchases or just new orders?
Yes, you will be rewarded for every sale. For example, if you referral has purchased 5 accounts, you will get rewards for all of them.
Where to get my partner link?
To get your partner link, simply login to your dashboard at www.portal.ita.com and in your affiliate area you will be able to copy your partner link.
Do I have to trade with you to be a partner?
Not at all - a lot of partners choose to focus on the referral aspect as this is less volatile than trading. However, you can also acquire accounts and trade with us.
What trading platforms are available?
We offer the Platform 5, as well as our bespoke platform X9HQ which uses Trading View charts for your analysis - X9HQ is tailored for those who trade manually.
Can I change platforms?
It is not possible to change platforms once you have received the account credentials.
What are the spreads and commissions?
All of our accounts have raw spreads directly from the liquidity providers.
What instruments can I trade?
You will be able to trade a range of instruments including Forex, Commodities, Crypto, Metals and Indices.
